Okay so the Main Headline is a little misleading... but it's merely to make a point. Makeup is Not Beauty! Makeup is a mask to beauty. You know the saying "Beauty is only skin deep, but ugly goes all the way to the bone?". I'm sure that some guy made that up and it's really pretty offensive when you think about it. But the reality is beauty really is on the inside.

Wake up, put on a little makeup? Hopefully none of your fantasy girls are on this list, because if they are you might have to rethink your fantasy. If they are not then you can just go on living the fantasy... until you think about it more closely. It’s certainly not my place to cast stones. We are what we are, but people who are Celebrity Obsessed should probably take a realistic look at their Celebrity Worship. Celebrities are just people. And the “proof” is on this page.

Americans seem to be Celebrity Obsessed. This should not come as news to most of us just turn on the television and even the major news networks will pick up on nearly every celebrity scandal or misstep.

Do you hero worship? How did Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, or Heidi Montag become household names? Celebrity obsession! What exactly do these talented people bring to the table? Can they sing? Can they act? Can they? Baffling isn’t it?

Stopping the Celebrity Worship - You Can't Buy Beauty in a Bottle

While this idea of mine is by no means news, and it’s not even original I’d like to bring some perspective to the Celebrity Argument. Are these people below the kind of people that we really want to be like? Kind of makes you think about Celebrity Obsession in general doesn’t it? And sorry I didn’t bother to look for the guy pictures because for some reason society likes to bash on women for the way they look while the men escape criticism all together. I didn’t make the rules of society I just find them oddly repulsive.

What do you think? Are these the people we should be modeling our lives after?

Do you think Mary Kay, Liz Claiborne, L’Oreal, Max Factor or whatever cosmetics are secretly scheming to destroy women’s self esteem so they can make a profit? Or do you think that people are just fooling themselves into believing they can be something they are not? In either case we need to recognize that Celebrities are just people… people that sell the dream based on appearance. It’s crazy.
