Buy and Sell Your Text Books Online

Many college bookstores charge full price for text books.  Many students have figured out that they don’t need to buy new text books they can buy used.  But you can’t always find a used version of your text books because professors require you to purchase new text books. So where do you buy cheap text books?

Well if you are in a stable small town community there may be several book stores locally who buy and sell college text books. When I was in college my school offered a “Book Exchange” which I often took advantage of. When I was a freshman of course I had not real idea how this all worked and I wasted a lot of money purchasing new text books – and that was not cheap!

Later I also began to realize that some professors would make you buy a book they had written and would put in the course syllabus their newest version.  Sad, but that’s how a lot of them make extra money.  Write a book and insist that you purchase it!

If you are a college student and looking to save a little money or make a little money by selling your used text books you may want to consider price shopping on Amazon, eBay, Craigslist and local Classifieds sites in addition to local bookstore outlets.
